Joe Hill is a seasoned security professional with over twenty years of experience operating across military, maritime, and corporate landscapes. His career began with a decade of dedicated service in the British Army, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and operational planning. This period shaped his ability to remain focused and effective under pressure, skills that would go on to define his approach to security management throughout his career.

Following his military service, Joe transitioned into the maritime security and close protection industry. Working as a team leader in high-risk environments, he gained extensive hands-on operational experience, managing teams, coordinating protective strategies, and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets across international locations. This chapter of his career strengthened his leadership style, situational awareness, and ability to operate effectively in dynamic and challenging conditions.

In 2015, Joe entered the corporate security sector within supply chain and logistics, a field where resilience, continuity, and incident preparedness are paramount. As a Security Manager, he took responsibility for security operations centres, critical incident response, and the development of both strategic and tactical security frameworks. During this time, he completed a degree in Professional Security and Risk Management, expanding his academic knowledge and enhancing his ability to integrate risk-based thinking into real-world decision-making.

Joe’s career progressed as he stepped into a Regional Security Lead role, overseeing a broad multi-client security portfolio across the UK. In this capacity, he supported a diverse range of corporate, logistics, and manufacturing environments, guiding organisations through complex security challenges. His work included the delivery of end-to-end security solutions from strategic risk assessments and policy development to the management of large-scale physical security projects and the optimisation of operational processes.

His core specialisms include risk management, asset protection, supply chain security, and the design, deployment, and integration of advanced security systems. Leveraging a trusted network of security system installers, integrators, and manufacturers, Joe is able to deliver tailored, effective, and technology-focused security solutions that align with each client’s unique needs and operating environment.
